External war begins internally. The world is a mirror of collective desire. Individual consciousness transforms the collective. Every act of connection weakens the forces of separation.
Physical wars are a reflection of inner wars.
Rav Ashlag explains that the external world is a mirror of the state of humanity's collective desire. When desire intensifies without correction, selfishness, division, baseless hatred, the need to control, that energy needs to find expression.
If it is not corrected internally, it manifests externally.
This does not mean that victims "deserve" it. It does not mean moral justification. It means that there is a collective network of consciousness.
In Kabbalistic language: separation generates judgment (din). Connection generates mercy (rachamim).
When humanity distances itself from the consciousness of unity, forces of judgment are revealed.
When multiple conflicts emerge simultaneously, it is a sign of the intensification of global desire.
The world is more connected than ever, technology, information, influence. The ego is also more exposed. What was once hidden now explodes.
The Light is more available. But fragmented Vessels cannot sustain it. This creates friction.
Kabbalah teaches that the greater the revelation of potential Light, the greater the resistance of the ego. Often, periods of chaos precede leaps of consciousness.
But this is not automatic. It depends on how we respond.
First: do not go numb. Second: do not despair.
Despair is also ego, it is the feeling of absolute powerlessness. Consciousness is asking: "What is my role within this?"
You do not control governments. You control your desire.
War begins when desire wants to dominate the other.
So the Kabbalistic question is not: "Why is this happening?" It is: "In what areas of my life do I still operate in the logic of separation?"
Small inner wars, resentments, competition, pride, are micro-versions of the same principle.
It is not about guilt. It is about alignment. You can strengthen unity where you are, reduce judgment, increase responsibility, and act with a consciousness of the collective.
Every act of connection weakens the forces of separation. It seems small. But Kabbalah teaches that consciousness carries spiritual weight.
The Zohar explains that, before great revelations, there are contractions. Darkness is not the goal, it is resistance to revelation.
This does not minimize pain. But it keeps pain from being seen as random.
Humanity is in a transition of consciousness. Transitions are never smooth when the ego resists.
Kabbalah does not ask us to close our eyes to the suffering of the world. It asks us not to close our eyes to our own responsibility. Every thought of unity counts. Every choice of connection counts. Every moment in which you choose rachamim over din, counts. The world changes from the inside out. It has always been this way. It will always be this way.
