The number 25 (Kaf-Hei): it represents Malchut, the physical world, connected directly to the Light. The 25th of Elul, tied to the completion of Nehemiah's wall, is a code of wholeness and alignment.
The number 52: the numerical value of the Tetragrammaton (Yud-Hei-Vav-Hei) in the permutation of Malchut. It signifies totality and the correction of the vessel.
The paradox of Virgo: it is the sign of order, of detail and of feet on the ground, yet it is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and movement. So it offers the chance to unite Heaven and Earth, spirituality and practical life.
Mercury as "Kochav": the Hebrew name means both star and planet, a code for the fusion of worlds. It shows that this month we have the power to gather the fragments of our lives into a single picture.
Yesod & Malchut: the channel (Yesod) and the vessel (Malchut) appear intertwined in this month's codes. The work is to clean, detail, review and set things in order, but also to raise that order so it connects to the infinite Light.
The opportunity of Elul: it is the month of Et Ratzon, a "time of goodwill." Not because the Creator listens more, but because the cosmic forces are aligned for us to unify good and evil and reveal only the Good. It is the dress rehearsal for Rosh Hashanah.

Rav Berg explains that this is the month of detail and revision: just as a Virgo reviews a text line by line, this is the period when we can review our own life, thoughts, words and actions, and align every detail with the Light of the Creator. It is the time to drag every fragmented part of our life and unite it into a single whole, connecting the world of good and evil (Etz HaDa'at) to the world of eternal life (Etz HaChaim).
