When you go out to battle, the daily fight is not against the world, but against the ego that separates us from the Light.
A week of Light · the consciousness of the Ki Tetze portion
✦ All insights are drawn from studies and talks by Michael Berg and from articles published on kabbalah.com.
In the portion Ki Tetze, we are called to face our inner resistance, the fears, judgments and selfish impulses, and to choose, each day, a higher path. This is the real spiritual combat: to choose to act with consciousness, love and service to the world, guided by the inner Light that Moses leads. It is an ideal moment to strengthen our soul and multiply blessings through true and authentic actions.
Identify a selfish thought that arose and reframe it with compassion.
Transform the inner perception.
Do an act of help with no visibility (anonymous).
Share Light without seeking recognition.
When facing a challenge, remember: "The ego lies; the Light saves."
Cultivate certainty and presence in the moment.
Avoid judgment for a day. Catch it inwardly each time it arises.
Open space for a higher understanding.
Write: "Today I chose to be a channel of the Light instead of judging."
Strengthen the transformative intention.
Reflect on Moses as a spiritual leader: what would he do in this situation?
Draw inspiration from leadership by example.
"I recognize my greatest battle: to overcome the ego. Today I choose the Light, compassion and sharing."
May this week of Ki Tetze strengthen us to choose good, share the Light, and win the inner battle with courage, compassion and faith.
