"What crosses the soul never leaves it the same, it leaves it greater."
Strength is not only physical. There is a strength that is only born in the hard moments: spiritual and emotional strength.
Kabbalah teaches that the Light does not fit in a small vessel, and that challenges, however hard, expand the vessel of the soul. Rav Ashlag explained that there is no Light without a vessel to receive it: every difficulty crossed with awareness digs more depth into you, and that depth becomes room for more Light.
In this process, even tired, you are becoming more connected, more awake, more open. The Light does not only heal you, it expands you.
Kabbalah teaches that the soul grows through overcoming, the same way a muscle grows through effort. No one develops spiritual strength in ease, it is born on the mornings it was hard to get up and you got up, in the news that frightened you and you breathed and kept going. Every day you face with certainty deposits in you a strength no one can take away, because it was earned, not given.
Challenges have a way of opening the heart. You notice love more intensely, give thanks more truthfully, live more present. Things that used to pass unnoticed, a peaceful breakfast, a laugh, a late afternoon, now shine. This new sensitivity is a form of strength: the strength of someone who saw up close what matters and does not intend to forget it again.
You may not notice it, but the people around you are learning from you. Your daily courage teaches without words: your children, your family, your friends see a woman crossing the valley with faith, and carry that into their own lives. Kabbalah teaches that a soul that reveals Light lights up far beyond itself. Your crossing is already, today, a source of strength for other people.
Even if you cannot see it all yet, something in you has already changed. You are deeper, wiser, more whole than before. This crossing is forging you, gently, into a more luminous version of yourself. And when this chapter ends, the strength you built here will stay with you, for every chapter that follows.
“Every day, I become stronger, more awake and more connected to the Light.”
Close your eyes. Breathe deeply.
Picture every breath adding a layer of light and steadiness to your being.
Feel a quiet strength settling into your spine, your chest, your gaze.
It is not hardness, it is root, it is foundation, it is certainty.
And say inwardly: “I am stronger today than yesterday.”
