"As long as the soul desires, the Light remains."
Today you receive one of the deepest and most strengthening truths in Kabbalah:
If you are here, awake, aware, trying,
it is because your soul chose life.
It does not matter what the diagnosis is. It does not matter what the prognosis is. It does not matter what the fear says. It does not matter what others say. The only force that determines life's true course is the will of the soul. And your soul, strong, luminous, resilient, chose to go on.
The Zohar teaches that the soul is an eternal fragment of the Light of the Creator. It does not surrender. It does not give up. It does not choose darkness. The soul only chooses growth, correction, purpose, expansion, healing. And the simple fact that you are connecting, seeking Light, opening your heart, is proof that your soul is fighting for you.
Kabbalah teaches that medicine watches the body. But destiny is decided in the soul. The body may be facing a challenge, but the soul may be creating a new path. There are moments when the soul calls the Light, the Light changes the energy, the energy changes the body, and the body changes reality. And this can happen at any instant. Rav Berg used to say: “One moment of connection can transform an entire life.”
Life does not end while there is love to give, love to receive, connections to make, Light to reveal, purpose to fulfil. Kabbalah teaches that no one remains in this world without reason. If your eyes opened today, it is because the Creator still needs you here. There is still something only you can light up.
Neither fear, nor pain, nor doubt has the power to undo the soul's decision. When the soul chooses life, it moves spiritual mountains to sustain the body. It opens invisible doors. It transforms paths. It reorganises energies. It draws in help. It calls the Light. The soul works even while the body rests.
You may not feel this every day. You may have days of weakness. You may have moments of uncertainty. You may even doubt the path. But the soul does not doubt. The soul knows. It pushes you, carries you, guides you, relights you. If you close your eyes now and listen with your heart, you may hear: “I still have purpose here. I am choosing to live.”
“My soul chooses life. The Light sustains me. I go on because I still have purpose.”
Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Place a hand on your heart.
Now picture a small flame of Light inside you, right at the centre of your chest, warm, steady, bright.
That flame is your soul. Watch the flame grow… gather strength… light up your whole inside.
Feel that flame telling you: “I choose to live. I choose Light. I choose you.”
Stay a few seconds in the presence of that Light.
